Senior Engineer, Arup

Emily is a senior materials engineer based in Arup NY’s Advanced Technology and Research team.
Emily is passionate about sustainability and the role materials and the construction industry can have in addressing the climate and environmental challenges we face as well as in improving the spaces we live and work in. Over the past few years, she has been committed to supporting the circular economy in the built environment agenda. She has worked on research projects looking to define effective circular economy principles for the industry as well as international projects, helping clients to understand what a transition to the circular economy means for their business and in identifying the first steps they can take to accelerate the transition.
